I'm been in contact with the mayor or Parker and the town council, and have requested they consider an amendment on 13.04.190 (c). The good news is they have agreed to consider it! But the more voices in favor, the better.
Parker is (almost) friendly to chickens, allowing up to 50 per parcel (property), but stating that the minimum distance to an off-site residence or business be 200 ft. This is restrictive for small flocks for suburban Parkerites like myself.
Denver recently changed their law to allow flocks up to 8 to be housed within 15 feet of an offsite residence. I'm urging the Parker town council to consider something similar for small flocks. If anyone lives in Parker, and would also like to see the restriction changed, please contact the mayor or town council and voice you opinion (respectfully - of course). Contact is listed here: http://www.parkeronline.org/index.aspx?nid=144
