Parrot people I have an **UPDATE PICS ADDED**

well I gave Paulie her banty egg baby yesterday - and she took to it great - has been sitting on it all night- only comes off to eat and drink - she has been rolling it from side to side to keep the egg from laying to long. I dont think she can really hatch it since it is so big for her - I touched it this morning and it is not totally warm but I will let her keep it for awhile and I will candle it on day 10 just to see.

cant believe I finally have a broody and it is my parrot LOL

I know the topic is old but just wondered if your parrot hatched out her chicken egg?

no Paulie was unable to hatch her banty egg - she just did not have enough body to cover the egg LOL when she sat on it - the egg would either pop out from under her tail or her tail so I put the egg in the bator ( it was not fertile after all ) I gave Paulie her 3 eggs back and let her set them until she was ready to call it quits.
