Hi everyone, I do not have chickens although I wish I did. Instead I have two parrots. I like to treat my guys holistically and when I see herbs it's always for a human and I cannot get the right dosage. What do chicken owners use holistically to cure yeast infections and what is the dosage. Little petie weighs 4 oz

Welcome to BYC. Yes, a yeast or fungal infection in a crop can be common in chicken. I know little about parrots, but you may want to do some research or see an avian vet. Medistatin, a medication exactly like Nystatin, a proven antifungal medicine used in people and animals, can be purchased online. Some chicken owners use miconazole (Monistat 7) cream or suppositories given orally twice a day for treatment. Vets for chickens are hard to come by, but you may find vets may see parrots. I have an appointment with my avian vet on Tuesday
