had been on BYC a lot longer than have been registered on the forum.
have certainly gotten a lot more educated due to BYC which has helped get closer to our girls ,but unfortunately it hasnt led to impulse chicken buying like other users because am living in residential care and have almost no money [am only on high rate mobility of disability living allowance and basic income support, but the HRM is totaly used up on a motability car and IS has to go towards petrol].
am moving into a different placement this year, and will get all old benefits back again, and the first plan [before actual move] is to get chickens in there.
all depending on the placement size,am hoping to get a large omlet eglu coop and run,and pimp it out- chickin style, its very basic in hennys eglu, health and safety laws prevent us from doing much.
am going to be hatching/growing some chicks for the person who owns this autistic organisation and this centre shortly, woudnt have got the confidence if it wasnt for BYC.
in an ideal world, woud love to live on a non meat/dairy farm, have loads of hens, especialy ex bats and hens from those ridiculous companies wrongly calling themselves free range when theyre no different battery, one male llama,a pair of pet sheep and loads of cats.
have got cousins who have pet bulls so its nothing out of the ordinary in this family.
waffle over and out.
