One of my chickens looked like she had had a stroke as her head was turned and she seemed to have less control over which direction she walked. After separation and rest she improved but not completely but is now functioning but a bit weaker than in the past (she is about eight years old so we are assuming it is mostly her age. But now a younger chicken (about five years old) has suddenly become mostly unable to move. she can wriggle a bit and can move her head but sometimes seems to move her head more than she wants - sudden forward movement. We have put her in a small box and are feeding her with a water soaked bread with seed as she will not drink water very muck and will not eat seed on her own. Her legs are collapsed underneath her but other than that she doesn't seem injured or deformed anywhere. Any suggestions?

oh yes also - the day before this paralysis happened, she was walking around but seemed to be blind as she was bumping into things.
