Hello! We just got our first chickens. My sister-in-law and her family are moving next week and since we were planning on starting a flock this year we adopted some of their's. Her husband was really attached to them and it was important they'd have a good home.
That being said, they got their chickens as chicks from Meyer hatchery last year. The hatch date was the last Monday in July of 2021. They ordered the assorted brown egg layer bundle. This one hen has not been an obvious identification and I'm really curious since it doesn't seem to fit with the current partridge brown egg layers on the hatchery website. Any thoughts? Looks like a partridge Cochin to me but no feathered feet. I thought maybe a partridge Plymouth Rock but not sure that Meyer had those last year.

Definitely Partridge plymouth rock. Meyer hatchery used to breed them. But unfortunately they discontinued breeding them in fall 2021
