Do partridge silkie hens grow black waddles and combs as opposed to red ones or do only the rooster's grow them??? I have a 12 week old partridge silkie starting to grow small comb and waddle bu t there black in color and still quite small. He/she also has blue earlobes not sure if that helps?

I thought your questions were about colour, not presence or lack; sorry for the incomplete answer.

All silkies have combs from birth; bearded birds (all breeds) generally have small wattles if they have them at all. Silkie wattle size is not a good indicator of gender, especially in bearded birds. Comb size is, but is not usually an early indicator.

Many silkies are bred for small combs, so female combs are frequently quite small, male combs are also often small, but not as small as those of the ladies. It would help if you knew whether the lines yours come from are breed for small combs or not. Personally I don't care how large a bird's comb is; I do care that it is well-shaped. (Well, I guess I do care about size to some extent--I don't want a tennis ball sized comb atop a volleyball sized bird

Also, many silkies mature very slowly as compared with other breeds. If you post a photo I'll be happy to give an opinion as to gender--if I can tell.

I had to post a picure of his bottom because it looks like he (I think) is starting to grow these longer green feathers off his bottom??? I'm not sure you can see them but maybe it will help they are definatly a shiny green color but this chicken is growing very slow compared to other silkie same age he is actually 3 months old and I just took these pictures today. He is a little ruffled because he had a bath earlier.
