I sold my partridge earlier this year. Just got this pic out and was reminising and have a few regrets. He was a beaut but a flogger.

This was my all time favorite silkie. Her name was Wonder. I cryed when a fox dug in and carried her away. She was the sweetest little chicken ever.

Julie, you know my taste runs more toward the large clean-legged chickens, but your Partridge rooster was a handsome dude! I remember him and loved his coloring. Too bad about your sweet little hen.

Thanks Cyn, I will have Partridge again someday when I get my other colors to the place I want them. Don't know if I will every have a Roo that pretty again though.

What kind of silkies are the ones that have the strips? I have a couple of babies that look like that.

Partridge, One of those chicks is that Rooster in the first picture.

I hope so. His Daddy has died so that mold is broke. Judy McKinn has a brother to him though.
