Wow! That's a wealth of great information. I will definitely check out the recommended readings. As for breeding for type...any recommendations for that or is it as simple as understanding the standard and selecting for those traits. Just wondering if there is something that would give info on dominate traits, potential items you would not want to breed together, etc...

I see you are working on blue partridge. Is this partridge w/solid blue breeding?
