They DO look a little gold-laced! Especially in the first picture.

They look less dinosaur-like than my red sex links did at a similar age. Do you if they're pullets or cockerels yet?

I am thinking they are pullets but im not sure... If one end up being a cockerel i will breed him to his foster mom they are related in no way) She is a partridge cochin so maybe if his golden lacing isnt the best breeding him with partridge might help?
Thanks again everyone!

Wow one of my chicks has grown a lot more lacing last night.. I think (hopefully a she) will be a better looking/quality chicken.

Well i have decided i might start my owne project. I just recently bought 2 standard buff cochins and 1 standard Partridge hen and 1 standard partridge roo. When i collected their eggs i figured i would get at least 1 chick that is from both of the partride parents but when the chicks hatched they didnt really look like a partridge chick and come to find out i have partridge X buff Cochins! At first i thought that these guys wouldnt turn out with any "special" color patterings but now that they are starting to really feather out i love their coloring. They have a buff cochin colored feather but they also have the partridge lacing on the wing tips. I reallly think that they might just turn out to be an awsome looking chicken and if they do, i am going to try and make more of these little guys and then sell them. Anyone else have Partridge X buff cochins that i could look at to see what i might expect?
Here are pictures of when they where first born:
