Pasture seed mix

Yes peaceful valley online sells a omega 3 chicken forage blend. It has white clover, red clover, buckwheat, rye grass, flax, and trefoil and more! It's very inexpensive at about 3.99 for a big bag that does quite a large area. My girls absolutely love it! I've grown it every year for some years now. I'm adding to it now with extra seeds but that's not necessary. The blend they have is high in omega 3. Just go to peaceful valley online and in the search area search for chicken forage blend. You will find it that way. It comes up pretty fast and covers well. I simply rake the area and provide seed to soil contact and it grows wonderfully. It's a lot cheaper than growing these this separately by seed. I do buy extra white and red clovers to add with it because I didn't seem to get enough clover .but you don't have to add if you don't want to. I purchased the white and red clover off amazon.com. If you mix both packages from peaceful valley and the extra clover seed you will get a very nice pasture. Hope this helps. I'm in the process of adding my clover now because at first I only bought and grew the forage blend, I wanted a little extra clover so I planted it after. But you can plant it together if you like. Best wishes.
