Pea chicks are 7 weeks almost ready for food change

At 8 weeks should they be put on grower pellets unmedicated 22%? Game Bird is not available. They get fruit and greens also. I know when we did the DEC pheasant release program that is what we did so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm maybe an 8 weeks old chicks are still young for pellets, i change their feed to pellets when they are 4 months old at least, can you find a mash feed for chicks with no more 18% protein?
