Pea plant?

Hi all! I'm wondering if i could let a pea plant grow up the side of my quails cage? (to help cool for wind protection) Are the leaves and all okay for them to eat? This seems random but i'm just wondering. I think they're snap peas btw.

You can eat pea tendrils so I assume the leaves are safe. I would do it.
