last week, peaches didn't have a comb she was getting pink in the face but no wattle really either , This week she looks like a full blown hen her body is more filled out and she has a huge bright red comb and her wattles have suddenly came out, and bright red too. like someone switched chickens with me or something. Im mean the change was very dramatic and sudden.
Dumplin on the other hand same exact age has a very small comb and no wattles, she is larger than peaches but not rounder just larger in general, and she is just a light peach in color around her face.
They are both golden Sexlinks and 17 weeks old,
So whats up with Dumplin, why isn't she maturing at the same rate as Peaches? And do you think that peaches will start laying soon, What signs can I watch for? Ive been checking the coop for hidden eggs just in case she sneaks on in somewhere but nothing so far. Thanks in Advance Sandy
