LOL yea I dont get that when people say they need to teach their peachicks to eat.... mine never seem to have a problem eating!
Peafowl are very curious.... sprinkle a bit of crumble on the bottom of the brooder box and they immediately pick at it.

Also what I do from the time they are just a day or two old..... get my finger wet... dip it in their feed so the crumbles stick to my finger... then show the chicks my finger.... they go nutz picking it off...... and as they grow, they always want to eat from my hand. They are forever picking at my hand and jumping on my arm looking for food.... even as they start to get too big.
I do this every time I fill their food bowls.... this makes for some extremely tame birds!

Seriously, yes, on all counts.

What are my pea color choices?

You have a baby hatching on the Crackin' cam right now. I'm trying to get a clear shot of just that egg but the movement in the hatcher makes the cam go crazy trying to auto focus.

I have a bunch of india blues, I can also bring you pied and dark pied.
I have some fancy colors here too but want to grow them out before deciding what to sell.
If you just want a few yard birds Id suggest the IB's.

I can bring more brown eggs..... or chicks if you want

Yes you want to make sure they find the feed and water.

When you get your finger wet,and dip in the feed, you are teaching them to eat, just like the peahen does.

Mine I just sprinkle Yolk over their feed ,and they eat.

Not so much teaching as make sure they find the food.
