I have one peacock that is a year old who free ranges with my ducks and chickens and I want to get another peafowl to keep him company. but the only ones that I can find for sale are baby’s and I only want one. So I was thinking that maybe I could just buy one peachick and a couple baby chickens and raise them together until I can mix them with the rest of the flock. I also know that pea chicks aren’t adults until they are a year old so I don’t know what age I can mix the peafowl together.

Unless you are in the southern hemisphere you are not likely to find baby chicks but your idea is a plausible one if you can find them. It is more likely that you can find a three-month-old chick that would not need any chickens with it and it can be put in with the yearling right away.
