Hi. My silver pied peachicks are spoken for, by a friend of mine. But I have an adult silver pied male I can sell.... maybe with a white, pied, or white eye hen. I also have lots of pied chicks here and white.

Nick. I havent crossed my midnights with spaldings, but could do that next year.
I do have a few midnight chicks here... one is pied.

I was hoping for some chicks so I could let them free range with my yearling spalding male. I am new to peacock coloration but what is the difference between pied and dark pied is it just more of the color?
Do you have any spalding chicks that are females?

yes a dark pied is just "darker". It has less white on it. Usually just on the wings and maybe a patch on the throat.

I have several nice spalding chicks growing up.. too young to tell sexes yet.. Spalding however are more wild in temperament, like the Java temperament and if you freerange them they will leave... generally.... but there are exceptions.
If you want something a little more unusual than an india blue I have some really pretty cameos.

I pm'd you about the Cameo's. Not sure you got it or not. What are you asking for them, & how many do you have?

Thanks,
Michelle

Yeah I know the spaldings are flighty, my guy is pretty decent. Well I had a silver pied and the spalding free ranging, but unfortunately the silver pied died. He was such a nice bird and pretty friendly. I do have a pair of indian blue and a pair of black shoulder Indian blue penned up and the 2 roosted and spent most of their time with them.
