The so called breeder told Strombergs they were at least 7 weeks when I got them. Those kinds of people I don't tolerate well. I bred akc champion Siberians for 20 yrs. 7 years ago when my father was diagnosed with Alzeheimers Desease I placed most of my dogs in pet home and ended my breeding program because I couldn't devote the time I needed to towards them. Two of my dogs earned awards of merit at Westminster 200 & 2002. I took reproducing seriously. My father passed two years ago but it took me a bit to come to terms. He was a brilliant surgeon and our family had suffered a great loss. When I started our plant nursery he brought me two 4 month old peacocks he obtained from a friend who bred them in northern Ohio. They were IB boys. We had them for years. That was 31 years ago. I was ready to have new ones. I haven't given up but this is why I didn't want babies. Heart breaking. Oh well...
