Hello,
I still have my 8 months old peacock at home, since I am just in process of starting to build a pen outside in a yard. Also when I got him, it was Winter, so too cold.
I wonder what his sleep cycle is. I know birds generally observe sun set and rise. But since he is at home with us, we let him out of his sleeping fort at 7:30 am, then put him to sleep around 9:30-10 pm, he is having fun with us after we come from work, and we play with him and watch TV. During day, he occupies kitchen and living room.
I wonder if me shortened his life, since he sleeps like people. He seems happy though. Today I had to leave early morning, and at 6 am he was still sleeping. But at night at 9:30, he gets really crabby and starts to bite and quock a lot.
