Peacocks

I am a new owner to 2 pair of oeacocks. They are almost 2 years old.i need to know what to feed them how do i take care of them. Can't i clip one wing to keep them from flying?.
Peacocks eat basically anything, we had a few until a fox got one of them as he was roosting too low in a tree. (His wings were clipped so he couldn't fly too high) I'd be cautious of giving chocolate but mine absolutely loves cake or biscuits (especially mince pies!) They forage for food as ours are free range but we always put out some bird seeds- they also love sunflower seeds!

If you do clip the wings make sure they have somewhere secure to roost and the tail feathers are not near the ground, they can still fly a bit with the wing clipped from my experience (though his feathers were growing back out slightly when he flew to roost)

Hope this has helped a little :)
