I have 2 peahens and 1 peacock. While on vacation their caretaker took their eggs and put them in an incubator. I'm OK with that. Now the eggs are hatching. Should I return the chicks to the hens and will they accept the chicks?
Each year they lay a bunch of eggs but have only once hatched 2 eggs. Those chicks got frostbite and the hen pecked their toes off, needless to say they died.
Not sure what to do now.
