I set peafowl eggs on Sunday July 10. Lockdown should be this Thursday the 4th with hatch date around the 7th. I have been hand turning them 3 times a day, but when I went to turn them this morning I heard the tap-tap-tapping. Should I continue to turn them the next few days? My temps have run on a slightly higher side, so they could be a bit early.

No, they're hatching, close the lid and get the humidity right. Then no opening it untill they're out and dried.

i have little experience with peafowl, but if they were chicken eggs, i would lockdown the bator, get the humidity correct, and stop turning them.

Thank you for your replies!
