I just got my first 3 peachicks with the intention of letting them free range. From what I have read it wounds like Ai should let one out at a time until they know where home is for sure. How do I know when that is? What kind of timeline do people tend to do this before hopefully successful free range?
Also I need to build an enclosure for them for when they are out of the brooder. How big should I make it? My current chicken and guinea coops are set up to look like small town country stores so I am kinda hoping to continue with the same look.

That's sad. I hope when we get to that point they come back
If you only turn one out at a time, 'they' won't all wander off. That doesn't mean you don't have to watch them, it takes a little effort to be a good steward.

Plan for 150 sf of pen space per bird. More information is available in the stickies index.
