Peafowl hatch along!

So a few days ago I got my first 4 Peafowl eggs and decided why not do a hatch along? Today is day 4. I am exited to candle on day 7

Got a bit impatient today and candled the eggs. Didn't really see anything except a bit of a dark spot. I will give them another week then candle again.

Well today is day 9. I have candled the eggs multiple times but I just can't tell if they are fertile or not. I didn't see any veins or anything but I did see a dark spot in 2 or 3 eggs. @casportpony do you know how to tell?

Turns out the eggs are not fertile. I'm really dissapointed now that I need to wait 8 months to get more eggs. No baby peachicks for me this year I guess.
