The autumn my mom got her pair of silver pheasants, I got a pair of juvenile(6months old) peafowl.
We put them in a covered beagle kennel at the back of our yard. Beside the kennel was woods and behind it, a windbreak of trees then fields. They were ok for the winter there, but in spring I moved the peas out to free range because we had lots of space and a bunch of low branched pines nearby.
The pheasants hatched well and grew, we sold all 5, though I wanted to keep a couple. (obviously we didn't have enough space for one more in there). Finally, the peas grew up and started raising chicks too, but, being totally free range, that didn't go without 75% losses.
Depending on the species or variety of pheasants you get, you will need more or greater space to see good results.
Also, as
@KsKingBee says(Who is really an expert on peafowl, btw) peafowl need lots of room by themselves to do well.
