How are everyone's sales going this fall on surplus peafowl?

The interest seems to be high. We had about 80 breeder peafowl and have sold almost all already in the last 6 weeks. Only have 13 left out of the 80, but have some more that we be coming home from the zoo's in the next few weeks. Plus our resident flock that free ranges has several young with them.

I do not keep or sell nearly as many birds as most of you guys, but I have sold all of this year's hatch with minimal advertising or effort. I probabily could have sold three times as many chicks as I had and also my breeding pair and yearling pair. I had good sales of red golden pheasants and ringnecks, and I think I will not eat as many of those eggs next year! Incidentally, I could not give bunnies away.

I have not sold ANY this year. We are very small. I have a total of 19 peafowl ranging in ages from 6 months to 4 years. I advertise them, but have never sold any. I research and try to have prices equal to others in my area/state, but there does not seem to be any interest here in North Florida. I would really like to sell about half of my flock but not sure how to go about it.

Yes there are lots of peafowl in FL, it took me months to sell one, finally sold him for $20. He was a BS. I think more exotic colors would sell easier, I can't wait to get my hands on a pied.
