Peahen Displaying

My Peahen, who is only about 7 or 8 years old has been displaying. One I had a few years ago started doing this when she was quite old, and shortly after she died. Is this a sign of an aged hen? or ?? Does anyone have experience with this behavior?

All peahens of all ages will display when the spirit moves them. You just never noticed when they were doing it or you were not present at the time.

Here's a picture of my young hybrid peahen, Irene, displaying. I notice that mine do it most when something is upsetting or out of the ordinary for them. This time, Irene was upset by the fact that our goats were racing all around outside her pen. LOL
