Peahen laying on perch

I hope I made this question in the right section! Sorry if I didn't, I'm new here.
To the question. How can I stop my Peahen from laying her eggs while sitting on the perch? I am becoming a great catcher, after I had to catch the last three eggs.

Just like the rest of us that have crazy Peahens put sand or lots of hay under her perch...... I have never been able to make one stop, Sometimes they will stop on there on

This would not make your birds happy but you could remove the perch until she understands that she is supposed to lay on the ground

I went out tonight thinking I was going to have to catch an egg. While I was waiting for that moment, I leaned up against the perch waiting. The peahen then had no desire to lay on the stick, so she laid it on the ground this time. Hopefully all the next times too!
