Peahens on 2 and ½ acres?

Hi all!!! I have 2 and ½ acres and I am thinking about getting a few peahens but I have a neighbor that lives right by me about 100 yards away. So I am wandering would two peahens be too loud for the neighborhood? I have one rooster and 17 hens and I know that no one hears the noise that they make. I also know that a peacock is out of the question because I know some people a mile away that has peacocks and I can hear them during breeding season.

You might do a search for threads about pea noise and neighbor distance.
This is a concern that many people have (understandably, because they can be loud!), and it has been discussed here a number of times.
Usually, it is recommended that you talk to your neighbors before taking the plunge so that you don't have problems later...
