On June 22 I posted a thread in the 'Wanted' section saying that I would love to add an Olive Egger hen to my small flock. One reply caught my eye and I began PMing with a fellow board member dinahmoe. Seems she had a young pullet olive egger that she was willing to part with.... google maps told me she was within driving distance and we agreed that I would visit her place soon to see what she had. A few days later me and my husband and my MIL went chicken hunting...

Needless to sayyyyyyyyyyyyyy I fell in love with Pearl at first sight.... not only should she be an Olive Egger but she was white!

dinahmoe has a lovely flock and there was another young chick there that my husband decided he just had to have.... meet Abigail!

After a few weeks of quarrantine they were incorporated into my existing flock - with just a few minor grumbles...
