peck hole in brooding egg still good?

I checked my eggs under the hen today and found a single peck hole in the shell. Have 1-1/2 weeks to go. Will it survive?

It may but I don't think it has much of a chance.

Would putting a tiny piece of tape be possible or a little melted wax on it? Hope it makes it.
