Pecking bare spots on my hens' backs.....

All of my 11 hens have bare spots on their backs just in front of their tails. I think I got the rooster out, but it might have been the other chickens pecking the spots. What do I do?

Those are bare spots from the rooster mating with the hens. It doesn't hurt them. You can either get them aprons made for that purpose or separate the roo from the hens. If you are breeding them, a hen will stay fertile for more than a month with out a rooster.
