Pecking Hen

I have a hen that is bleeding in the vent area and only one other hen that is pecking at her. What do I do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to separate the hen that is being pecked and allow her to regrow any feathers and heal. Keep her in a caged or fenced off area but within the flock until she is healed. Being pecked at the vent can kill the bird.

If the wounds are fairly large, you may need to use some sort of ointment or blu-kote on the wounds to help prevent infection.
