I have five white leghorn pullets that are 14 weeks old. One of the pullets wont let the others eat or drink. How long will this process last? Please help.

I have the same breed! And there's five of them, around the same age as your's. Hmmm, I haven't had this problem. So what I'll suggest is putting her in a separate living space for a bit, and after a while put her back with the others. I think it reduces their bossy role if they are away for a while. But maybe someone can give you a better solution. Also provide more feeders and waterers for the others, I doubt she can block off both.

Thank you!! Are yours very flighty or calm? Also do yours let u around them? Like when I go into the coop they take off outside. They seem like they don't like me.

Mine are flighty. They do the same things yours do. I have to trap them to pick them up! You would think I'm killing them from the noises they make and the way they act. They are calm when I have them but they don't let me pick them up again. Leghorns ate generally very nervous and flighty. Only if I have food do they come, sometimes they don't. We have 2 cochins chicks and an Ameraucana chick who are opposites of the leghorns haha.

I feel like if I trap them then there going to peck me and jump at me.. I'm new to having chickens there my first

I had six but one was a boy so we had to give it away. The leghorns are my first too. Mine have never pecked at me when trying to catch them. Mine have jumped up to get away, not to attack. How old were they when you got them?

They were 13 1/2-14 I've only had them two days so there still getting used to the new coop and everything else

I don't think they'll ever warm up to you. We got ours when they were 2-3 weeks old. They were already scared of us and nothing has changed. I'm sorry they aren't friendly or docile. They are sissies. They chase off a dove but are scared of a baby chick.
