I brought in a 2 month baby Brahma hen into my flock while I was gone one of my Easter eggers pecked the top of her head really really good. Now my Easter eggers will not leave the nesting box where it was done. Is that a sign of a hen going broody? Maybe sick? I have no idea. The baby Brahma hen is doing alright. I have no clue why she pecked her the way she did.

When you introduced her did you have her in a kennel with the rest? Did they get time to get used to each other?

Leaving a new chick alone is not the best idea....

I’d start again to introduce her, put her in a small dog crate with food and water , but with the others ... they need an introduction.... good luck

I put her and another hen then cane together outside the in open yard with them they all just got in the hen house at night. They have been together for about a week in a half now.
