Pecking

Question. I have 7 chickens and 1 rooster. The rooster and a hen seems to join up and beat up another hen. I've already taken the hen out of the enclosure to heal. Would they fight again I put her back in the enclosure after she heals.

How old are these birds, in weeks or months?
Have they all lived together since day old chicks?
How big is your coop and run, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics would help immensely here.

Removing a single bird for treatment makes them a 'stranger',
getting the bird back with the flock can be tricky.
How bad were/are the wounds?
Did this just happen, like yesterday ...or....?
