2nd one in the last few weeks. Chewed up the hoses I have for watering the chooks and a bunch of wood off the coop.

It's just a dog proof coon trap. I threaded the chain through a hole in a bucket so I can pull the coon inside and then pop the lid on. Then I can transport it out of city limits for a meeting with Mr. Remington.

Wonders why a coon would chew on water hoses?

Wonder how trap/chain/bucket is set up.....and how coon ends in in bucket?
Video of all that would be great.

The chain that the trap is attached to runs through the mouth of a bucket and out a hole I cut in the bottom of it. Once the trap is sprung, I can just grab the chain and pull the trap and coon into the bucket and pop the lid on.
