Hello Everyone,
This site has helped me immensely already. I like it! I started with a Rhode Island Red and two Barred Rock. Every couple weeks I've brought more home. Half have been cornish rock, which we initially over fed them to ten pounds cause I kept looking looking at them each day to butcher as 'I'll do it tomorrow,' At eight weeks, one broke it's leg when I opened door it was behind, and that started the butchering experience rather quickly.
I now have original three at 15 weeks, what I believe to be three Amerucaunas at 13 weeks, two 6 week old bronzed turkeys, two silver laced wyandottes at five weeks, and four 2 Wk old Rhode Island reds. Olaf is our only confirmed rooster, surprisingly started crowing at 10 weeks.
I look forward to learning more from everyone. I will add some pictures soon.
