Peeper clips

I bought a few of them "bits" but have idea how to fit them as my hens ar epecking the new ones..
i was thinking about getting peepers instead as they seem easier to fit.
would be interesting to see if anyone knows.

I have a 4mo.PartridgeX cochin cockrel that killed one of my 3mo.lil Birchen pullets

and a 4mo.Black cochin cockrel that tried to kill my 4mo.D'uccle cockrel,he recovered thankfully.I did'nt think they would do this until they were older, now I know!! The red has been locked up and when I let him out for a supervised stretch he went rite back to it!The black one gets locked up when he's being a bully, though I think he's the top cock rite now. He's to be for my kids 4-H project but I'm debating now on keeping or letting him go.So that's why I wondered if the peepers would help with these boys to play nicely. We could let the jerky ones go outback in the woods but, I don't want to feed the dang coyotes after they ate my poor kitty!

I used the kind from eggcartons.com that you had to open up and just clipped them on in their nostrils. You don't really need the tool to open them up, but if you don't have the tool you do need two people - a chicken holder and a clipper. This kind of peeper doesn't actually puncture their beak.

I don't know about sizing, I think they only had one size. They worked just fine.
