Today is day 25 on my guinea eggs. This is my first time using a bator. I've always hatched them under broodies. I took out the turner tonight and laid them on the wire bottom. I upped the humidity and candled all of the eggs before putting them back in. Out of 40 eggs 31 appear to have keats in them!! The others looked infertile. They didn't look as if the keat had died, but totally clear as if they were never ferile in the first place. I heard quite a few peeping already and some tapping sounds, so they may hatch early. I'm so excited. I'm a little worried about keeping my humidity right and have had to readjust the temp since the eggs are lower without the turner, but my fingers are crossed and all I can do is wait and watch.
Wish me luck!!
