I am starting to think they may have died... i don't know.

I heard one peeping (out of 6 eggs) yesterday at 10:00am, then at supper he stopped, and never peeped since.
Out of the 6 eggs i knew they might not all be good but i felt 2 or 3 move. Now, no movement.

One has a blood bubble that dried but still leaks here and there? I was wondering did he pip and drown or pip and hit a vien. ?

Is it normal to hear no peeping anymore. Last night (at supper) he was really peeping like he was already out of the egg... and then stopped, no pip, no peeping anymore.

My humidity is at 65-70% and temp. 101.5 and never goes below 100 degrees.
I've had them in the bator for about 5 days because mom was abandoning the nest after first and only chick hatched. These eggs are all different days so i just swooped them up and tried to salvage.
It's been pretty disatrous so far. I was hoping to save one or two... now it looks like none.

I'd love to hear everyones thoughts and opinions as to whats going on? what should i do?

Yesterday i thought leave nature take its corse but now after no more peeping i'm starting to feel that i could have done something but didn't for the little one... which i didn't know was who because of lockdown.

This is where the disastrous part comes in, we had a hen go broody after 1-3 eggs. Everyday for 2 weeks more and more eggs appeared. We were wondering when she would stop. Then we found BYC and saw that she had gone broody and that another hen was the culprit for more eggs. So we candled and then took away the newest eggs. But the left over eggs were still days apart.
Fast forward to now one egg hatched with her and we waited two days and no more hatched so we pulled the left over 6 and put them in the bator. We don't know when they were layed and how far along they are.

Only that a few days ago the egg kept wiggling for a few hours and then yesterday all day peeping (he had a very good set of lungs) and then nothing at supper and today no movement, no peeping.

Here is a pic of the egg that "bled" out a little. We had to move/tilt him different to stop it and now it bubbles up and very little leaks now and again.

I think we gathered alot of knowledge from this expierence for the next time. I am just trying to salvage what i can from the rest and maybe give the singleton chick a little friend to grow up with.

Well since i no longer heard peeping from the bator 24 hours later... i gave in and attempted to see what was going on by starting on the one that was leaking. I gently opened where the air pocket was to peep inside only to discover a rotting egg as were the rest of the 5 out of 6 eggs. One even exploded... and WHAT smell my kitchen has now... (opening windows).

I then proceeded to to this with the only one who wiggled the other day and he was dead, but fully formed. He was the only one formed out of the eggs and i've now officially confirmed HE WAS the one peeping. In the end my actions were too slow as i let nature take its corse... it cost this baby his life. I wish i would have done something yesterday but i can't go back now.

There won't be a next time as i'm storing the incubator away. Now that i gathered ALOT of knowledge from this expierence we will be leaving the egg hatching to the broodys. No temp. control, no humidity... no stress.

But this story doesn't have all a bad ending, out of our disatrous journey there is a sole survivor, we've named him/her Destiney. Because as fate would have it, out of all the eggs this little fart hatched right where he should have... with momma hen.

So here is Destiney, quite the cochin baby too. He loves his momma and follows her like a hawk

She's a real good momma.
