Hi
We have 6 Pekin bantam chicks who hatched on the 22nd February, so not quite 3 weeks old yet... but, one of them has developed a substantial comb with a pinkish tinge already and I’m wondering whether it might be a very early developing roo? The one in question is the darkest of the lot on the left of the photo...

Still a little bit to early. 4-6 weeks is the age they should start to show signs of being a rooster or hen. But I would say she is looking a little bit like a cockerel. But that could change :)
