Pekin duck male or female

I have a question about one of my ducks. One of my pekins is about 11 weeks old. Has no Drake feather but also doesn't quack loud. My other Pekin doesn't quack loud but has a very apparent Drake feather. Should I assume the duck without the Drake feather is a female?

Not necessarily if it has the raspy drake voice it may just be a slower maturing drake.

My drake didn’t get his feather for almost a year. Give him time. Some quackery are a bit slower to grow it.

i baught 2 male pekins in the fall, 1 had no drake feather and the owner seid he didnt grow one ever and he was 2 years old

my 2 drakes are males and pip rarely ever gets his drake feather back, what i mean is it falls off sometimes and doesn't grow back for a while and when i first got him (he was full grown) he had no drake feather like pepper
