Hello all,

I have a female Pekin duck, around two years old that had issues with on leg since she was a duckling. Still managed to get around and go to the pond to swim.
She never laid and for some time she had remained in the chicken coop where I keep big tubs with water. I have seen her eat and drink but the last couple of days she has not been eating.
Yesterday I noticed a puffy bloddy discharged through her vent, egg like shape. She expelled today but is still bleeding some.
Just wondering if this could be something that could affect the other ducks, chickens and guinea hens.

:welcome sorry for the circumstances. Sounds more like a physical problem than an infectious situation.
That's what we were suspecting since she has not been totally ok since little.
Thank you so much for your response, really appreciate it.

Cristina

I hope your baby gets better. I don’t know enough to give any advice.
