Pekin ducklings in dallas texas

We are looking for around 6 ducklings that ee can raise as a backyard flock. If anyone knows where we could find healthy ducklings i would be very grateful

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas only about an hours drive from you (Blue Ridge for her, Greenville for me). You might try checking on Craigslist or with your local feed store and see if anyone is advertising ducklings for sale. Also you might try posting on our duck section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks or check with other members from the Dallas area at https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=dallas,+texas. If you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum, you can locate and post on your state thread. You may find nearby breeders and could get the ducks you desire without having them shipped.
