Pekin Ducks not laying

My Pekin ducks are 6 months old and I think I have 2 females. They have not started laying eggs yet. I am feeding them purina duck food, letting them swim in a kiddie pool, and they eat oaster shells and free range. Anything else I can do to help them start laying?

should be any time now. sometimes theyre a little late. also have you searched far and wide and over and under and through everywhere they could have layed them? Ducks like to lay in all kinds of random spots.

I am worried about that. They don’t even go into there coop at night by themselves. I am also feeding them vegtables - lettuce, carrot bits, cucumbers

Where are they sleeping? If you don’t put them up locked up you’ll not have them long.

In a old chicken coop locked up. Would never leave them out.

They have a straight tail and loud quack. I have two drakes and they look nothing like them.

Try leaving them longer in the morning just to see if they will lay inside. Or let them out in the morning and follow from a distance to see if they have a hiding place.

We have a lot of tall weeds in our chicken run that they have access to. I went down and looked today but nothing. I am going to put some straw inside there coop tonight and make a small nest and put some golf balls to try to teach them about that.
