Hi Everyone, I have a beautiful Pekin who is about 4 years old. About 6 months ago she started falling over, it started with me finding her on her side unable to get up - this happened every few weeks or so with no particular reason or pattern i could see. I took her to the vet when it became for frequent and he could find nothing wrong with her. He spoke of a rare disease (which i forget the name of) where this can happen, in which he said there was no cure. She has gotten progressively worse and now falls over almost daily. When i see her stuck on her side or back i go and put her upright, and shes fine again. But she can no longer get into her coop which has a 2 inch lip she has to step over, so i lift her in and out each day. besides this is fine, she eats, scratches and walks around fine. I cant tell if she is in any pain, but she doesnt appear to be. I worry if im out or go away she will be stuck on her back all day, which is risky coming into summer. If anyone has any suggestions id love to hear them. Ive already spend $150 at the vet for pretty much nothing, so hoping to get some help here.

Do you have any pictures of her whole body, legs, top of her feet, and the bottom of her feet? What does her diet consist of? How much exercise does she get? Is there any noticeable pain to a certain area on her body? Is there any other poultry around her? If so, how many males and females are there that she might come in contact with? Have there been any other diseases or infections she might've had or has currently?

She eats layer pellets and kitchen scraps, she roams the yard just as much as the rest of the flock, although as its gotten progressively worse over 6 months (possibly more) she roams less - it seems to be her legs where she gets wobbly, like she cant hold herself up, she is in a flock of mixed breads, silkies, pekins and and araucana - total of 6 chooks including her, no issues at all with the others
