I'm in Va near the Tenn line. I have 11 ducks, 5 Pekin rescues. I actually need more females due to the fact I have too many drakes. We have a 3 acre pond with 3 canadian Geese that have moved in and seem to like our flock. We also have 3 visiting heron and about 20 mallards that stop in to say "hey guys" every few days. My pets are not for slaughter and I do use their eggs for breakfast. The main reason for wanting to add to our Pekins is when there are too many drakes around, they beat up the females. During this mating season, I need more adult hens to take the aggression down a notch or two. Otherwise seperation will have to be the option and taking any of them away from the pond is sad. Plus what few females I have act like they are dieing when I seperate them from their boys. So if we can work out a reasonable pick up plan, your babies would love our 10 acre horse farm with the big pond. Hopefully, I can help in some way.
