My female Pekin is about 4 months old now. She acts perfectly healthy. The other day I noticed her bill, mostly around her nose, is covered in little black spots. It almost looks like mildew. It's not mud, I tried to wash it off with the hose.
It's been there for several days now with no change. Is this normal or something to worry about? My other Pekin, a 1 year old male, doesn't have any spots on his bill at all aside from some peck wound scars from my grumpy hens.
