Peking Ducks

Hey I have 2 Peking ducks my female has been laying awhile now and I just noticed like a week and a half ago that sometimes she would put her wings and and stand up straight and kind of look like she was trying to push something out maybe and then she would just put her wings back in and just sit still and don't wanf to get up and then the next day she is fine ..Does anyone know what is wrong with her ?

My first thought was also egg bound but I have no experience with Ducks. You might want to try posting on either the Duck Forum or Emergencies / Diseases / Injuries and Cures

I have 23 ducks 3 drakes and 20 hens. That's very strange. I've never had one of my hens do that. I think if she was really egg bound though she wouldn't just be fine the next day. After she does those movements have you ever found an egg later the same day? She could just be laying a big egg. My jumbo pekin hen lays double yokers all the time.

Thank you all for ur comments I posted it on the emergency site I changed there food so maybe she would stop laying I was hoping that would help her .. But I'm very new at this and there my 5 yr olds ducks I really hope there I nothing bad wrong with her ..I just put a heat light in the duck house today ..

Hope the ER people can help you get to the bottom of this. Of course nothing can take the place of a vet exam and any blood tests if needed.
